Jackie Felger from Bouquet of Books and Dani Bertrand from Entertaining Interests founded this great blog hop that has a great group of people with weekly topics that change every month. They also have a site they co-author together:  Cover Girls.

This topic for this week (June 22-26) is: If you could learn any out of the norm skill, what would it be?

Answer:  Fencing/Swordplay.

Surprised ya, didn’t I? Always had an interest, but never followed through.  Must be the Captain Jack Sparrow in me. Okay, I know…don’t care. Yeah, I’m a Pirates of the Caribbean fan. What can I say, I’m young at heart.

Wonder if it’s too late to start learning… 😀 Can you imagine the chaos I’d cause? Haha!  :p

What’s the skill you wish you had? Any possibility you might still pursue it? Until next time!

  2. I use to do fencing when I was in my 20s. It was fun but nothing like you see on the movies of course. Elizabeth Moon, the author, went to all kinds of sword classes so she knew what she was talking about went she wrote. I would like to have learnt to fly. Too late now apart from being too expensive.

    • Ooooh, GMD you’re so lucky! I wish I would’ve tried it when I was younger. The only fencing and swordplay I engage in now are in books, movies and video games. Love you!

    • Yay for PotC fans! Of course I know this, Chrys. What kind of fan would I be if I didn’t? 😀 Can’t wait till it’s done. THAT I’ll see in the theater.
Thanks for the visit. Love ya!

  3. I used to know someone who was good at fencing, Eva. it looks like quite a challenge. I’d like to have been a dancer, or just to be able to waltz like people did in the movies. I love that kind of music, too.

    • Interesting stuff, Deanie. I can only imagine how challenging it must be. You can still make your dream a reality. I use youtube videos to help me learn new dance steps. It helps me with my coordination and gait. 🙂 Love ya!

    • One day I might give it a shot. I’m a leftie, so I’d have to try with my right. I never knew that about you. I thought you always played guitar. I learn something new about you every day brother. Love ya!
